Ahh, the white button down. I remember learning about how the button on the collar came to be. Polo players, way back then, were suffering from their collars flopping up and down hitting them in their faces as they hauled ass down the polo field to do whatever they needed to do.
First world problems if you ask me, but whatever the case, the button down shirt has carried on as an iconic shirt in a man's closet. We have worn these since we had baby teeth and consider it to be an important piece any day of the week.
Ours is made with incredibly soft, 100% cotton Oxford cloth that was made in Italy. We lean on this shirt for that rare occasion when you need a proper dress up, or just a wingding day out and about.
If yours has seen better days and a possible beige, hombre thing around the collar that just does not seem to want to leave, maybe it is time for a fresh one.
