Our Clampdown shirt using a beautiful Cone Mills White Oak Dobby 100% cotton fabric. Double flap chest pockets. Cut and sewn in San Francisco, Ca. Fit Guide
We had a run of this beautiful Dobby fabric made by Cone Mills White Oak about 10 years ago and recall it being one of our more interesting fabrics we have ever used for shirts. Late last year, we stumbled on some more so we gobbled it up and recut it in our Clampdown double pocket long sleeve shirt.
The unique characteristic about this fabric is easy to see when new but the personality really comes out with a lot of wear and washes later on as it grows old, just like our favorite pair of blue jeans.
This is probably the last bit of this so once this is gone, it will be gone gone.
Nice shirt, order up one size so you can wash this baby so it breaks in… not sure why they have instructions on how to wash cold water blah blah this shirt wants to be broke in and worn like the work shirt it is … other wise love like it … has a nice beat and I can dance with it on…
AS usual very nice quality construction and material. My only comment is that more detail about the garment and material and the ability to zoom (or a close up) of the material would be nice and more detail regarding care and fit and weight of materials used would be nice. In this instance the photos did not do the material justice. Very happy with the shirt but the material is a bit different from what I expected from the portayal on the website.
Really good quality, runs slim
First time buyer and was satisfied with the product and communication. Nice job….
This is a wonderful shirt! The unique gray/blue fabric was made in the legendary White Oak denim mill. It looks great and fits perfectly.
I bought this shirt eight months ago. It's a killer. I thought it was great out of the box and it just gets better. I wear it at work, traveling, hanging out, etc. The color is a grayish/silver/blue & the material is unique and excellent. Get one!
This is a fantastic fabric. I am 6’ 220lbs and ordered the XXL which was a bit big to begin especially in sleeve length. I washed one cycle delicate, warm against label instructions and hung to air dry after which fit is perfect. I measured 1” shrinkage in shoulder, 0.5 in sleeve and 0.25 in overall length. It’s a beautiful, unique shirt.
Big meeting? Put on the Tellason. Big interview? Tellason. Big date? The Tellason is sure to end up on the bedroom floor. When you want to look good, but still feel like you can go outside to chop wood...wear a Tellason. When you want to feel like a man and dress like a million bucks...damn straight--it's a Tellason. Long-lasting. Well-fitted. Classic lines. Tellason.
When looking for a unique shirt, this is it. I love heritage styled clothing and this fits the bill. The texture and color is great and the fit is modern, but not too slim. I am 6'5" and the XXL is a perfect fit with surprisingly long enough sleeves
