Our Clampdown double chest pocket shirt in 10 oz. Japanese selvedge with corozo buttons. We consider this shirt, given the weight of the denim, to be a "shirt-jacket", therefore it runs big. Spec measurements here. Made in San Francisco, Calif. USA.
Nothing fancy about this shirt. Several buttons, two pockets. Right side pocket has a bit of a hidden knife slot. This is just fine with us and we have always felt the need to stay away from trying to create the next and greatest new anything, so we take pride and comfort making shirts that could have been made 50 years ago. No nonsense, just a well-built shirt made to last. This new Clampdown Selvedge shirt leans on the heavy side since we chose a 10.5 oz. fabric. It is a bit "slubby" but not to the extent that you feel like you need one of those tape rollers to start your day.

Was disappointed in the quality of the selvedge denim. Inferior to the shirt I bought several years ago.
A sturdy thick feel and very well made shirt. It seems a classical no-fuss design, straight up quality material and quality construction, built to last. Lovely deep indigo with slight 'slubb' gives some nice texture to it. Sizing is more as over-shirt/shirt-jacket, so a good size up on regular shirt fitting. Awesome!!
Typical for tellason, this item is made with the best materials and awesome construction. For quality pieces, tellason is absolutely the best bang for your buck.

I purchased this shirt, a few years ago but ended up not wearing it much because it was too big. I'm 5'-10", 180 with broad shoulders and chest. I had purchased a size Large. Eventually, I decided to try and shrink this shirt, for a better fit. I first gave the shirt a soak in hot water, then hang dried it. The shirt fit better. I then gave it a hot wash and dried it in the dryer. I got lucky with shrinking because now the shirt fits perfectly. The fabric softened up in the process and feels really good. If I could offer one suggestion, it would be the addition of loop near the tag, to casually hang the shirt when needed. This shirt is really well made and should last many years.
Stout shirt, runs big, but dang it is going to be absolute perfection and last forever. Brilliant yet again Tellason!!

Quality of this shirt is undeniable. I’m looking forward to breaking it in and seeing how it ages. As others have said, don’t be afraid to size DOWN. I’m 6’2” 205 and went all the way to a medium. Shipping was lightening fast and customer service was top notch. Thanks!
