I debated on whether or not to add this jacket to my collection for months. I finally pulled the trigger and couldn't be happier with my purchase. Looking forward to wearing this more as the temps drop. Great layering piece too. I'm 5'7" and 165ish pounds and got a medium.
I love this jacket - great fabric and fit, and perfect weight for the transition in to the colder months.
You won’t believe this fabric
I was lucky enough to make trips to both the California and Oregon coast in the heat of the summer. While the rest of the country is cooking, the entire coastline of Oregon (and, as it turns out, Monterey Bay) are cool pockets where you forget what month it is. Low clouds, fog, and mist along with the cold water of the Pacific make a light jacket a requirement and the Coach’s jacket is perfect for the job. I can’t stand the noise of a nylon windbreaker and the 60/40 fabric used in the shell here is smooth and quiet and does a great job of keeping you dry. The jersey lining is just enough to keep the chill off without overheating. It’s no surprise to me that two guys living in the San Francisco Bay Area built the perfect summer jacket.
