The Buchanan work pant was designed by our friend and neighbor, Sam Buchanan. Sam is a local skater, surfer, wood worker, musician and all around original dude who could not care less what is happening in the world of fashion. One day, he stopped by wearing some incredible old work pants he bought at a thrift store and we got to work to make something like this for our own, with his help. We used a 12 oz. canvas made by Mt. Vernon in Georgia. This is a looser fitting, straight leg style with utility pockets on both sides. This fit guide will help. Cut and sewn in San Francisco.
Have had about 3-4 days workin in them, outside work, woodshop/ metal work. Amazing work pant...cut is obviously pretty loose, but doesn't feel sloppy/ snag or catch, just easy to move around/ up and down. Pockets are in a sweet spot...I haven't had much luck with similar pockets on other pants, these hit a sweet spot. Looks cool with a few rolls up and of course built like a tank...looking forward to them getting that fine Tellason Patina over time.
This is the most comfortable pant I have now. And I have quite a few from Tellason!
These pants have lots of room in the legs which makes them much more comfortable to wear. Very durable too. I had to roll up a couple of times and they we’re at a perfect length. These pants are a nice alternative to my Tellason Stock Straight leg jeans.
