  These are my third pair of Tellason jeans and I want to love them but they are way too baggy. I ordered the same size I usually wear in Tellasons and they were so tight I couldn't even close the fly. So I ordered the next size up, still too tight! I ordered another next larger size jean I've ever worn before because I didn't want to do the go around again. Basically got tired of the back and forth and my local dealer doesn't carry this model. So now I've sucked it up and been wearing jeans that sag which looks terrible. I highly recommend only buying these jeans in person since the sizing is so off.

  If you want to simplify your life by purchasing a very few, but extremely high quality items, this denim is the way to go. Breaking them in and wearing them has become a hobby.

  I've been wearing my 16.5 oz JGMs for about 4 months now and they are my favorite pair of jeans. The fit is phenomenal. Not a skinny jean at all, but not too baggy at the ankles or crotch. The 16.5 oz cone denim ages beautifully and is some really durable stuff! The jeans are very high quality and the price is well worth it. In my opinion, Tellason makes the best jeans on the market. The fact that they're stitched up in San Francisco using denim from North Carolina and hardware/thread sourced in the USA as well makes them that much more great to me. Well done guys, well done!

  I have the 16.5 oz and the lesser weight, both in the slim fit - Mellor. I'm 5'10" with a 33 waist and weight 180 lbs. They're stiff because they're new, but the fit is great. If you have thicker legs, they're not too "skinny", just slim.

  Ok, This is my first experience with raw denim. I went ahead and got the 16.5oz John Graham Mellor raw denim jeans. Wow, If you've never experienced heavy denim, then be prepared. 16.5 oz is heavy stuff. I know other companies make up to 32oz. but that is too heavy in my humble opinion. I did a 1 hour initial soak in cold water in a large sink. I then wore the jeans the next day. They were still very stiff. I could literally stand the jeans upright on their own after they dried haha! I probably should have used a bathtub with more water. I don't think i got all the starch out. I may do a second soak in a bathtub just to get the starch all out. In terms of fit, they are perfect and basically fit and look like they do on the model. I was a bit crazy and went to the gym and did squats and leg press while wearing them to break them in. I don't recommend that haaa! By the end of the day they had stretched to the perfect fit. When you first button up this heavy denim you will be shocked....it takes a bit of work since everything is new and tight but it gets much easier as the day goes on. The look and feel is awesome to say the least. These John Graham Mellor jeans are amazing. I look forward to breaking them in and getting the whiskers and other characteristics over time. Definitely worth the money. Actually the price is quite reasonable compared to other raw selvedge denim. There are many Japanese brands that cost quite a bit more but the Tellason's are awesome quality and made in the USA. The owners also sent me a personal thank you note! I like supporting small American businesses so I highly recommend Tellason.

  I've been writing my new JGMs for a week or so, and they are really great. I really prefer the slimmer fit to my Ankaras. They were initially snug and somewhat uncomfortable to put on because they are so stiff, but now they are starting to mold to my body. The details are excellent and I receive compliments about the quality. I wish I had a little more inseam on the bottom to fold up the leg, so maybe next time I'll see about a custom length. The personalized thank you card was a nice touch.

  16.5 oz denim is not for the faint of heart. I've been wearing 'em three days now, and they still practically stand up on their own when I take 'em off! They are starting to give a bit, and I'm really pumped about the cut. I typically wear 32, and the 32" JGM fits perfect. Slim around the waist and thigh with a roomy, straight leg. The craftsmanship is top notch and I love all the details, from the red tag in the back pocket to the perfect seams.
