I just got this jacket and it’s a must have. The construction the fit and the feel are worth the very reasonable price for what you are getting. Can’t wait for it to get colder so that I can start wearing it. This is my first piece from Tellason and it won’t be my last.

Where to begin? This jacket is a true statement piece. The construction and craftsmanship is unequalled. It is definitely warmer than a standard jean jacket, which is a plus here in New England. This thing is meant to be worn and worn hard. It is not a decorative ornament. Regular wearing will reward you with tremendous fade patterns that slowly emerge. A true classic of American craftsmanship. Could not possibly recommend it more emphatically. I am 5'8, 205, big around the chest and shoulders and went with an XL. It's loose enough to wear a layer under it, which I prefer. Best money I have spent in a long time. Classic.
I wear denim jackets year round. This one get me compliments. So warm and durable. And amazing with a hoodie underneath.
This jacket brings is an absolute beast in cold weather. No need to layer, just throw it on and enjoy the comfortable lining and excellent weight.
This jacket is an absolute beast. I've had the 16.5 oz Unlined one since November of 2023 but I finally caved and bought this version, which is much more suitable for the cold weather. This jacket is nice and stiff from the get-go, but has started to get even better with wear. As many others have said, this jacket's blanket lining is actually not super heavy--making it a very versatile piece. The sleeve lining is even more insulating than the body in my opinion, which is a plus for Fall weather so I can comfortably wear a tee under it. Despite the wool blend lining being lightweight, this jacket is PERFECT for cold weather. I paired this bad boy up with one of my heavyweight 14oz Jcrew hoodies on a 7 degree New York Winter day and when buttoned up, it was actually completely windproof and kept me toasty--a testament to how good the wool blend is at retaining warmth. If you plan to layer up, I'd recommend sizing up. I wear an XL at 5'8, a 45 inch chest, 19 inch shoulders, and about 200 pounds. The XL is perfect with thick heavyweight sweaters/hoodies without ANY tightness whatsoever. And although the body is a tad big on me, the waist adjustments help pull it all together. Another fantastic piece from Tellason that I couldn't recommend enough!
Just an amazing piece. I have the flint and tinder lined waxed jacket and a Filson short jacket but this is next level. Tellason has never failed to knock me out with the quality of materials and craftsmanship. Small is a bit snug (5’8” 160 lbs) but I can still button it and hoping it stretches with wear. For anyone looking to try Tellason I would not hesitate!

5’7” - 155lb - S This is one of those jackets that you can’t wait to put on. You can feel the quality in the materials immediately. It’s taking a bit to break in but that’s part of the fun. Pretty close fitting, I can only layer with lightweight sweaters or hoodies. Worn it in temps down to freezing with a sweater, gloves and hat and been comfortable. Probably wouldn’t be warm enough below that unless you layer more. You won’t go wrong getting this if you’re in the market for a high quality jean jacket.
