I've owned the Coverall Jacket in this black selvedge denim for a few years and have been waiting for the fabric to make it's way into my preferred jean fit. It's a great fabric and feels light compared to my 16.5 oz indigo Elgins. These will be fantastic for wearing to events that might require a more formal touch than blue jeans.

I'm a little late in trying out the Elgin cut. I've been a John Graham Mellor devotee since 2010. I decided to try this cut when I saw it offered in Kaihara's black selvedge and I'm really happy that I did! The Elgin cut is perfect on two fronts: 1. The added 1.5 inches in the rise is super comfortable, and 2. the taper is just right. Sometimes tapered fits are too dramatic if you're over 25 years old, IMO. Another Tellason classic! Thanks Tony & Pete!
