Item of the Week

Check out our "Item of the Week". On sale through Friday at midnight.

As a kid I always wore a "trucker jacket", perfect for most California fall/winter days. We assumed the name came from the fact that truck drivers preferred these utilitarian jackets. Turns out our assumptions were correct.

Several years later when I became a denim dork, I found out that the jacket was originally introduced in the 1960s by The Haus of Strauss as the Type III (a follow up to two other jackets they designed in prior decades).

Our "denim jacket" is our interpretation of the Type III, but not an exact replica. We added hand warmer pockets on the sides and two interior pockets (which are super handy). The iconic chest button flap pockets always seemed more decorative than useful.

We are proud to offer you our 14.75oz selvedge denim jacket (aka Trucker, jean jacket, Type III) as our “Item of the Week” with a 20% discount now, through Friday.

All the best from Northern California,
