I just finished reading "Too Much Too Young: The 2 Tone Records Story". Incredible. If Oprah can broadcast book suggestions, so can we. Worth a read if you are into punk, or ska, or reggae, or all of the above, like we are.
Madness has a masterpiece called "Baggy Trousers". If you are not tapping your foot or running to the dance floor when it comes on, you are the living dead! It is full of intention and was a call out to any kid to get to some serious skanking as soon as possible. Big pants, worn the right way, have always been cool. To have our new wide leg chino in the stable now speaks of that music and sub culture, at least to us.
