Without question Tellason is the best denim company in the US.
I was in a rut with selvedge jeans prior to picking up my new pair of 12.5 oz Sheffields. My desires for a straighter cut, more room in the waist and top block, all-day comfort, and solid quality have been met! I'm tall, athletic, so either jeans are too tight or I'm swimming in them. With my Sheffields I have found the perfect median: flattering but with plenty of room to move. Looking forward to fading these during the upcoming Texas summer.
Very pleased with quality and fit. And they are Cone...
Just as Tellason jeans pay tribute to The Clash, I am sure this pair of denim will make my memories for a long time. Great fit, and made to last. Last two pairs were JMG's but went with mid-rise and looser leg fit, as I am now a little older hanging with a different crowd. Love the crispness and color. Just get a pair and work 'em. Cheers.
You might wince at the price when you buy these but you'll forget about that as soon as you put them on. The denim quality is in another league. The Sheffield fit is great for those who need a higher rise in the waist and seat and also prefer a smooth taper. You will not regret these jeans.
After Mr. Tony’s opinion, I can choose my size easily. Sheffield 12.5 oz is comfort & look smart for me. My next target is heavier weight Ankara!
My new Tellason Sheffield Jeans arrived today. Perfect, excellent quality with a the typical Tellason style. I am so happy with this garment and will surely buy another one!
Jeans are as American as they get and the best is made from Cone Mills White Oak fabric. The hand and look of the ring ring yarn woven on fly shuttle looms is so much better than that from modern high speed looms there is no comparison. Tellason has the pattern making expertise to make them fit right too, especially in the seat and crotch. The cut and sew quality is A+. I own pairs in Elgin and Sheffield patterns. I look forward to wearing one of my three pairs almost daily. With Cone Mills gone I am stocking up!
I like them all the way around.
