This is my second Tellason jacket. My first was the Tellason Stock trucker jacket. The coverall is beautiful and very well made. I got both jackets in Medium, and the coverall is definitely roomier than the trucker, which I prefer for layering in colder weather, while the trucker works better with just a T shirt. Very pleased.
The fabric is really something, taking on a luminous quality in the sunlight that gives the inky blue a depth I can't quite understand. However, when I emailed to ask about what seemed to be a small stitching mistake on the two right-side pockets, I was met with a reply that implied I have obsessive compulsive disorder. When I emailed again in a good-natured tone to follow up with a more specific question, that question was ignored and it was suggested I don't understand how denim is made. That assumption isn't too far off the mark, but I still wanted to know whether what appeared to be an error was an error, even if it's minor. So I asked politely one more time and haven't heard back. My hunch is that some folks may appreciate the imperfections of the construction, as loose threads and unusual buttonholes signal that the product is handcrafted (alas, my partner has a different read of the threads!). Anyway, it'll be interesting to see if this review is posted -- a good faith move that I would retroactively reward with a fourth star if I were able! Regardless, it is a pretty coat.
Love the coat! Quality, style and the price compared to other "bougie" raw denim brands is second to none. Love the personal and responsive service on sizing, fit and materials. I'll shall return...

My new go to jacket, XXL fits me (6' 1 245lb) excellently. High praise for the pocket layout, classic and reliable fabric, and buttons that contrast nicely with the denim and pair well with the stitching. Definitely my first of many items from tellason.
Just want to give a shout out to Peter. He gave me a phone call during this day & age, after he was notified a defective jacket was shipped. Tellason promptly sent over a replacement. It is an awesome work coat. Heads up: Check out some of the prior reviews for a gauge on your fit. After reading reviews, the XL seemed "right" and it indeed is. -Jameel
I ordered two versions of this jacket. The Japanese selvedge denim and this Cone Mills denim coverall jacket. The Japanese selvedge jacket XXL fit a bit looser than the XXL Cone Denim. I like the cone denim coverall jacket fit better. I'm a 52 inch chest with a 40 inch waist and it looks like it was tailored for me. A great price point for a great jacket!!
thoughtful tailoring, well finished in terms of sewing, good mid weight denim. The cut i found just slightly tight across the back > I am a lifelong layering fool. I need to spend a season working outside with this coat to report on wearability and function - but off the bat, its solid - and i like its distinctiveness. Ill hang it outside and hose it off next to get rid of the excess color it keeps leaving all over my home
The quality of tellason is literally hands down the best around. Period. But..... The fit of this jacket is a little wonky. XL fits more like a LARGER size large with slim arms. Body length and width, and sleeve length is perfect! But the width of the sleeve are just ever so slim where they restrict arm movement just enough to feel like a fat man in a little coat. Size up!!!!! But be careful....if the size up is too small, the next size up will be WAY too big! Im 6'5" and 230lbs. Hope this helps.
