The Tellason Stock Jean Jacket is made in San Francisco, California from 14 oz. non-selvedge sanforized Cone Mills denim. Two exterior side pockets, two chest pockets and two interior pockets.
Ahh, the jean jacket. The trucker jacket. The denim jacket... Call it what you want. This style represents the ultimate American piece of clothing for something to be worn above the waist. I have not been to the Smithsonian but I just checked and yes, they have a denim jacket on display. As it should be.
Our Tellason Stock jean jacket is a keeper and priced well considering the integrity of the Cone Mills fabric we use and where it is cut and sewn (San Francisco). We are proud of this style and know that it is built to last, and if it is hanging in a museum, I suppose you can reach for it without ever thinking if it is in style or not.
Of course, Ralph has a thought on this topic:
“It has nothing to do with fashion. Fashion is over quickly. Style is forever." - Ralph Lauren.

I think this jacket is really the jeans perfect. The fabric is very solid without being too thick, hot and stiff. I think too many jeans fabrics lately are wayyyy to thick for comfort. This one is great. The only jacket I took with me on my recent trip to Europe and I loved it. Got caught in a rain storm and used it on a ship when it got cool at night. Nice big pockets and awesome cut.
Put simply, I could not have hoped for better.... I just got it a few days ago: just a real winner overall. Keep making items like this, you guys. Given how this jacket is and the Stock jeans as all, I will try some of your shirts next. Onward and keep doing what you do... Quality wins.
I’m incredibly happy with this purchase. I’m 5’11 and 180 and the XL fits perfectly. I wanted something to replace my beloved seven year old Levi type III trucker jacket and looked high and low before deciding on this one. It’s well made and the cone mills denim is crisp and beautiful. I researched the heck out of this purchase and tried on a number of other type III trucker jackets (including IH and PBJ) and chose this one based on the simplicity of the look, the well made construction and of course the value. I’m very impressed with Tellason. Looking forward to living with this jacket for the next 7 years.
I am 5’9”, 150lbs & a medium fits perfectly on my shoulders & torso. I either have short arms or sleeves run a bit long, but it’s no problem cause I’d cuff the sleeves regardless. Excellent weight denim, and extremely well made. I cannot believe there is another denim jacket on the market that could beat this quality for the price.
This is a perfect, American made, denim jacket. Comfy (i.e., not too ridged) and yet will wear in well. Perfect for Spring into summer when we still get flashes of winter temps here in the Midwest.
This jacket is terrific. I gave it a 30 min. cold soak, hung it out to dry, and then put it on. The denim has texture and attitude and isn't in any way fussy or decorative. I bought a new jacket in the first place because my son, who just turned 18, asked if he could have my old jacket (much repaired - different brand). But when he saw the Tellason he changed his mind and very politely asked if he could have it instead! Of course I gave it to him and now I'm going to buy another. Seriously, its that good. He's leaving for college in a few months so we won't be twins (a least not very often)
6’ 2”, 210. Emailed & Tony recommended XXL, which fits absolutely perfectly. Just enough room for a sweater or heavier shirt underneath. Comfortable right out of the box. Have had it a week and it’s already a total favorite & feels better with each wearing. A great investment.
Outstanding workmanship from American craftspeople, who offer first-rate service. What more do you want?
Great fit, finish, and quality. Thanks Tellason!
