A NOTE FROM PETE & TONY
People work hard to give the world the impression that things are peaches on the outside. Comb that hair just right (if you have it). Wash that car if you have the time (a coat of Turtle Wax if you have extra time). Smile pretty even though you may want to throw your desk out of the window. The reality is you need to sort out the inside, sort out the stuff you cannot see.
This interior work keeps things humming and in the end, a good long life can be had, which is the point sometimes. After all, someone you respect may be stepping into that waxed car of yours. Opinions can change quickly once they have to flick those fries off their seat and simultaneously wonder why there is one of those plastic dental flossers wedged in the air vent, with what looks to a little corn in there taking a nap.
A tough transition here but somehow, we think about the details, both visible and hidden, when we make a jacket or a pair of jeans. Be thoughtful every step of the way and take care of the inside as well as outside. Our blanket lined coverall jacket is a perfect example of this process and as simple as it is, we put a lot of minerals into this coat and are happy to offer it to you.
