I loved a pair of Vietnam-era army pants in the 90s and was hoping these would be a great (if pricey) replacement. Within a few washes, the buttons lost their color, became brittle and broke. I replaced with surplus buttons and was hoping these would be a mainstay of my wordrobe but the crotch seam opened up at the same time a tear developed in the seat. Wanted to love them but the quality isn't there.
Perhaps a bit pricey compared to the ones I bought as a teenager at the local Army Surplus store in my home town but well worth it. The fabric feel is a bit chunkier than the slim fit version and the color a greener less muted olive color that is definitely in line with the real deal surplus pairs. I anticipate many years of wear out of these.
Great fabric, impeccable construction, and perfect fit. Highly recommend. 6'8", 230lbs and wear 35's.
Awesome pr of pants, love the fit. Tellason quality! Thanks
Love them. Fit well, exceptional construction.
I hesitated in buying these in straight fit a couple years ago, and when I was ready to buy they were not available anymore. Bought the modernized tailored cut in 36” and hated them slightly tight in the box and against my legs… Years later they are back. Remembering the feel of the 36” from previous, I bought 38” in the straight and way big. The website says 36” is 36” and it’s not, it’s 37” which is perfect! I’m 6’2” at 220 Lbs. You can move the way you should in fatigues, loose and ready for combat!!! Love them! Don’t miss out on these straights. Stay old skool
I'm sorry to say that I'm actually a quite disappointed with these :/ The fit in the waist is alright, but the rest of the cut is pretty strange - they're quite close fitting in the thighs, which limits mobility, and seem to taper *outwards* from the knee down, giving them a bit of a 70s' bell bottoms vibe. I'm 183cm, 67Kg, and my thighs are not particularly wide. Also, their front pocket openings are so small that I have trouble getting my hands in. All in all - not the best design, thought the quality of the stitching, the fabric, and the details are great as I've come to expect from tellason.
Very nice pants, my new favorite! It's quite slim, although the model is straight. It sits al littel hgher on the waist than most pants, which is something I absolutely love because it makes it possible to combine the casual pants with semi formal cloths such as tweed jackets. Only downside is that is has only one in seam lenght.
Fit great; cool, retro look.
