Our Clampdown shirt made up in a heavy weight plaid flannel. Cut and sewn in San Francisco, CA. Fit Guide
Not at all sure when the whole flannel shirt mystique came to be but it must have started with the needs of men and women spending an exorbitant amount of time outdoors, probably from October to March.
Maybe the whole pirate shirt thing was happening just prior to ye old plaid flannel shirt. What a radical style swing! Much like how bands like Bread or Abba (sorry Sweden) cranked out their hits prior to our punk rock warlords who carved out their own and very different path.
Another digression... Anyway, early fabric makers might have taken note about what these outdoor folks needed and I bet the weight of their creations felt close to this shirt. Medium / heavy to be sure, soft as hell to keep that neck warm when the wind kicks up and make it stylish with some useful pockets and some great color combinations and whammo - you have yourself a fresh and warm shirt to get you through the winter.
This new Clampdown shirt is ready to go.
Best from HQ,
This is a very heavy fabric. I wear a medium in Tellason shirts. This shirt was HUGE. A few emails traded and I trusted the process. One wash (cold water, hang dry) and the shirt is now smaller and fits properly. This is a late fall/winter shirt for the full cold. Too heavy for fall or spring. Perfect for layering or as a shirt-jac if that's your thing. As always, high quality of fabric and craftsmanship.
Tony recommended I purchase a size large and the shirt fits perfect. I'm 6'4", 43" chest with 35/36" sleeve length. The shirt fits to a "T", and lots of room. Great job Tellason!
