The more you know about chambray, the more you will love it. It falls in line with denim, with its durability and beauty as it gets old and faded.

I have had one of these since we first cut them about 10 years ago. I have worn it with my black Paul Smith suit, and have worn it countless times in Mexico as a sun protector as I paddle myself into as many waves as possible before my stomach calls me in for lunch.

There can be a gap between cuts of this Clampdown Chambray shirt of ours but thankfully, now we are stocked. So take a swing at this if you are so inclined!

    Beautiful shirt, impeccably built to last. I’m 6,33ft/194lbs, I’d say the shirt runs a bit large compared to my other XL Tellason tops. Gave it a good soak in hot water, and now it fits beautifully: Still roomy, but not oversized.

    6’, 175 Large fits great. Normal dress shirt size for me is a 16/35. Great service and questions quickly answered by the guys. I like the cut and style so much I ordered the denim version of the Clampdown. Thanks fellas.

    Love the subtle design choices on pockets and stitching. I'm 6'2" 190lbs - so tall and lean - the size L has a nice fitted look for me. Love it!

    Typical Tellason quality: great material, very well constructed. This shirt will last 10 years easy. I’m a slim 5’11” and a Medium is roomy, but not too big; I wouldn’t want it any smaller. Chambray will shrink, so hang dry. Tip: wash for first time with 1/4 of vinegar in the rinse holder - it’ll help soften the material.

    I picked this up as the item of the week and I love it. The oversized white buttons with the white thread really pop against the blue chambray. It did shrink a bit with laundering. I emailed the guys ahead of time regarding the sizing and they recommended going up if you were in the gray zone between sizes. I went up 1 size from my topper denim and coverall jacket and glad I did. This is my 5th Tellason purchase this year and I’ve got my eye on a few more items!

    After getting a stock denim from Tellason last year, I’ve found they are my go to for new shirts. Their aesthetic, based on traditional American workwear/surplus, hits the sweet spot for me. These chambray shirts are heirloom quality and I can already see some great fades happening in my first one. It’s now my go-to sun cover for hikes, chores, and beach days. The new one is for date nights!

    Great quality, beautiful fabric. I’m concerned it may shrink considerably as it’s raw.
