I like a sturdy jacket but this one blew me away. Awesome material, very well done stitching, and the pockets are so functional. The buttons will take awhile to break in but I'd rather have them tight than loose. My daughters were all over it, and my Tom James haberdasher gave it an affirming nod. I also own the tan corduroy shawl collar jacket, both in Medium. They are a very different fit, with the coverall being snug, but I like the sizing differences for different reasons. I broke it in with damp towels in the dryer (no heat). That helped, but wearing it will be the real trick to softening the denim. You'll be very happy with this jacket, trust me.
This is pretty much what I was hoping it would be, which is crispy and very raw! I love the selvedge ID that goes around the collar and down the inside! Now a note about the sizing… the size chart is absolutely accurate and I could’ve taken a small for the chest/shoulder area however, for my hips I needed the medium and I am very, very happy. I went by the size chart it’ll give me a little extra space to put stuff underneath it I definitely would not hesitate to buy this gem.
The 16.5 oz Coverall is no doubt going to be a favorite and daily wear! I am a Medium and it fits true to size. Weirdly enough it looks awesome witu just a t shirt underneath and also with a thick flannel.. the fit just has this right feel. As for the pockets, they are unique to other denim jackets and it’s fun packing them when you need to! All round kick ass!
My review of the 16.5 OZ Coverall Jacket: While there was an initial shipping hiccup, with the item mistakenly sent to the wrong state, Tony resolved the issue promptly. I appreciate the swift response! As for the jacket itself, the exterior is excellent—visually appealing with flawless stitching and construction. The interior, however, shows some minor inconsistencies, including a noticeable stitch jump and slightly uneven finishing in a few areas. While these are internal and not visible when worn, they do impact the quality impression. I'd rate the exterior an 'A' and the interior a 'B'. The fit is accurate to size. At 5'7" and 180 lbs (173cm & 81kg), the medium size fits perfectly. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the jacket.
Beautiful jacket with a lot of utility! Ive had it for like one week and have already gotten about 5 compliments from strangers and it goes with just about any outfit I can pair it with. My only complaint/wish was that the jacket had side pockets, as I routinely attempt to put my hands in side pockets of jackets instinctively. Also, great customer service! I’m 6’ 3” with long arms and I weigh 170lbs. I ordered a medium and it was kind of tight. I reached out and the exchange process was smooth and painless and the large fit much better, albeit a bit wide (nice for layering though).
Fits perfect. Tony was very helpful in determining the sizing. I usually wear size M in most brands, and size M fits perfect.
