Great craftsmanship. Interior pockets are a perfect addition. The denim is very stiff at first, and needs a cold water rinse. After drying, a tumble in the dryer helps. This garment will take a while to break in, and it gets a lot of attention and compliments. If you like beefy denim, it's a good piece to have. I love it.
I got this jacket at 20% off. I am now wearing this around daily. I have already received compliments from friends and strangers. The fit is perfect. I bought large. I'm 6' at 185lbs. This is a quality garment. It even came with a thank you card signed by Tony. I look forward to getting some more Tellason products such as jeans.
Early review but I ordered and received the jacket this week. Been rocking a custom pair of Cone Mills 16 oz jeans daily for the past few months. Wanted to try this jacket because I wanted it to be close to the jeans....when I opened this today I was awestruck. Jaw on the floor. It is beautiful, inside and out. I will be wearing this jacket for the inaugural Redline Rally and it’s going to be so good. It is strong, beautiful, fits me perfectly. I’m 5’8” 165 lbs, athletic build, ordered a Medium and it fits very comfortably. Again, early review because I can’t wear it until the Rally starts, but this is beautiful craftsmanship. So impressed with my purchase.
5’9” 160 LB. Medium was a perfect fit. I had avoided buying a Jean jacket because you can only wear them when it isn’t really cold out. That is not the case with this jacket. In addition to being warm it’s very high quality construction. I think this jacket will outlive me but whoever inherits it will appreciate the durability.
Just a really sturdy, well made jacket. Feels authentic and not disposable like many manufacturers. Wearing it everyday to get that cool fade!
This is how a Jean jacket should be made. In fact, at one point they were. I e had my White Oak Cone jacket for a few years now. It’s my go-to every time. Full stop. I know the denim is now from Japan, and they know their shit. It’s as good and possibly even better than what we do in the states. If I needed two denim jackets, I’d get another. I’m 6’ and currently a bit beer heavy at 240, the xxl is perfect. On the edge but perfect. I can still layer with a Pendleton and button up. Barely. If I were to have one complaint, it would mirror another reviewer in that the breast pockets are a bit too small. Honestly though, I don’t remember being able to fit my wallet in an older Levi Jean jacket, so maybe that’s how they always have been? Anyway, that’s my review. Later, nerds.
Chest pockets need to be larger. To short in arms and body length. Other than that, its an awesome jacket just doesn't fit me.
No surprises here. Classic styling, great construction, great fit. I loved the selvedge lines keeping the interior clean.
