Item of the Week

Check out our "Item of the Week". On sale through Friday at midnight.

When we think about a soft, usually plaid fabric, the first word that pops into our minds, forever it seems, is "flannel". But where did this term come from? Turns out, like many other fabrics, it was developed in Great Britain, specifically in Wales. Not two or three hundred years ago, but back in the 16th century!

We are pleased to offer our plaid flannel Clampdown shirts as our “Item(s) of the Week” with a 20% discount through Friday. Not to contradict our favorite band, The Clash, but these are turquoise and brown, not as the lyrics to Clampdown say "You start wearing the blue and brown and you're working for the clampdown".
