The Topper shirt (named after the drummer of The Clash, not the fact that you wear it on the top part of your body), was the first shirt we ever produced, over fifteen years ago. I still have my original and wear it frequently.
In 1978, when I was a kid, my family and I visited Pier 39 in San Francisco and my father, brother and I were thrilled to see a store called "Left Hand World" -- as left handed writers, we always talked about how notebooks, school desks, literally everything was oriented towards right handed people.
Makes sense we surmised, as 90% of people globally are right handed. When designing the Topper shirt, I decided to take care of my people -- the pencil/pen holder is located in the right chest pocket, making it easy for us lefties to grab the writing implement.
