denim and finishings are the best but I think that it has to be, from knee to down, more tapered (up to 18-19 cm down), for my taste. Hello Tony, FORZA NAPOLI .
I had a question on sizing and wanted to get my perfect fit. I sent an email asking for advice and was personally called back. Tony spoke with me on the phone and helped me understand the different fits. He also stayed in touch with me as I was super picky and ordered several styles to try one. In the end I went with the Ladbroke. The color and denim is awesome! I'm really excited to see how they fade. The Ladbroke was the prefect fit for me because I like my jeans to sit lower on my hips. Great jeans, great company!
These are my third pair of Tellasons, but first Ladbroke Grove style. My others are JGM's (14.5 and 16.5 oz.), which I also love, but I wanted something more tapered. The fit is accurate. I like the lighter weight and the taper is not overdone -- just right. Based on previous experience, I expect these to wear like iron and age with grace and style.
I have had this pair approximately six months and they are my favorite pair by far. They don't even go back in the closet. The White Oak Cone Denim seems to breath better than the Japanese denim. Conversely it also feels heavier than it's 12.5 oz rating. The break in is amazing it the way it forms to you over time. In my humble opinion it also fades better than the Japanese denim. Not used to this "vertical fade" people seem to appreciate with the Japanese material. Best of all I think is the fit. Slim enough to look sharp without looking like I am an old guy who is trying too hard. They stack well with boots and look great with sneakers. Every day I wear these jeans is a good day. I have a lot of good days.
After a long search, I can finally rest. The Tellason Ladbroke Grove 12.5 oz is my favorite pair of jeans. I love the cut, the build quality, the All-American sourcing and production, the list goes on. They are the perfect jeans for me.
