You might wince at the price when you buy these but you'll forget about that as soon as you put them on. The denim quality is in another league. The Sheffield fit is great for those who need a higher rise in the waist and seat and also prefer a smooth taper. You will not regret these jeans.
After Mr. Tony’s opinion, I can choose my size easily. Sheffield 12.5 oz is comfort & look smart for me. My next target is heavier weight Ankara!

Jeans are as American as they get and the best is made from Cone Mills White Oak fabric. The hand and look of the ring ring yarn woven on fly shuttle looms is so much better than that from modern high speed looms there is no comparison. Tellason has the pattern making expertise to make them fit right too, especially in the seat and crotch. The cut and sew quality is A+. I own pairs in Elgin and Sheffield patterns. I look forward to wearing one of my three pairs almost daily. With Cone Mills gone I am stocking up!

Outside of the the great cone mills denim, and style, the one constant I notice about Tellason is the fit of they're clothes. Seriously, everything I have purchased from Tellason, wears as if it is a Tailored and Tapered custom fit! Im 6'2 190 and a size 34 is perfect for me. The Sheffield cut is ideal, it gives the same straight, roomy (not overly loose) fit in the waist and leg of the Ankara, but tapers in around the ankle. These are a great pair of jeans, classic American Denim, I will definitely be back for another pair of Sheffs! (Even if its just to smell the aroma of new cone mills denim 1 more time, lol, its addicting) Anyway, cant say enough about Tellason's outstanding customer service and rapid shipping. Nice quality denim and very well built. I had high expectations for them after being recommended by a lot of people. They were definitely as nice as I hoped for them to be.
Recently just purchased the third pair of my Sheffields 12.5oz. After getting a good wear-in, they get relegated to work wear where they still take a beating in style. For me, living in a warmer climate, the weight is just right. The size is true and I love the slight taper to the leg. Even after washing (not too often, mind you), I love the colour. Personally, I love the hand written note of thanks thanks that comes with every order. While I know I am just one customer among many, it feels good to know that someone cares and takes pride in a simple, well crafted and timeless garment.
