I've worn most of the tellason jeans and all are fantastic but the Ankara 12.5 are my favorite. I wear a size smaller in the Ankara vs. jgm or Sheffield. Just the classic straight leg done to perfection.
Decided to try a more generous cut for my jeans and after a lot of reading and comparisons, decided to try the Ankara. FIrstly, so happy with these jeans (14.5 oz) - excellent weight and skillfully made. Secondly, these are a generous cut, so perfect for a more athletic leg, so easy to move and live in.
My man is very good looking & well appointed. This denim makes him more so.
I wish I had tried on the Ankara a decade ago! Would've save me a lot of $ buying other selvedge jeans from other brands. If there is one pair of selvedge jeans you should own, it is this one. The fit is unbeatable and very flattering. All other details and the customer service are out of this world.
I have owned a few pairs of Tellason Jeans, in different weights, over the years and they never fail to impress. I recently got another pair because I lost enough weight that my old comfies were just too darn big. Love 'em! I wear them practically every day. Tough, yet comfortable. And the denim is gorgeous.
Top quality denim. Extremely comfortable. Excellent buttons and stitching. I just wish they came in a shorter length like 32”. I didn’t want them tailored and they are very long on my 6’ frame.
Get two pair and ditch all other pants you own
This pair was my first foray into the world of raw Selvedge denim. I did some research and Tellason had the fit I was looking for with their Ankara fit. After getting them and being impressed with the fit and quality of the jeans I promptly ordered two more pair in different weight denims. I’m hoping Tellason will add some heavier denims to their lineup. They will have a customer in me in the years to come. Great work!
