Only had these jeans a week but the quality is great. A couple of years ago I bought the JGM's, and last year a pair of the Stock Straight. Really dig those and wanted to try the heavier 16.5 selvedge Ankara's. I can already tell they are going to be my everyday jeans for a long time to come. I like Pete and Tony's story and like to support guys like this and love all their products.
These are the best pair of jeans I’ve ever purchased in my life. The fit out of the box was perfect size wise, and the comfort improved with each wearing. The weight is heavy enough that I expect excellent durability. The craftsmanship is flawless. I think I may never buy another brand of jeans.
A nice man in a nice shop in the nice town of Petaluma is responsible for Tellason entering my awareness. This happened many years ago and it all began with a pair of Ankaras. I can’t think of a better start to building trust with this company. Honestly, EVERYTHING I have ever purchased from them has met but more often exceeded my expectations across the board. But I will never forget that it all started with an Ankara. Specifics, yeah I could get into those… fit and durability, style, etc… all glowing reviews here in those departments but I’m all too self aware that I am a paint covered garbage pail kid approaching middle age with weird legs from decades of skateboarding and cycling so my read may be as skewed as my right ankle and left knee or even moreso. In closing, Ankaras… you’re going to appreciate them for sure no matter what point on the spectrum of garbage pail to respectable professional you fall.
I’m so glad to have come across this brand. I’ve been looking for a classic pair of straight leg jeans without the crazy sizing and gimmicks for a while. Ran through all the Japanese brands and finally came across the Ankaras in a forum online. I ordered my usual American sizing and they fit amazingly. Just a fantastic fitting pair of jeans that look great. Highly recommend, and I went with my usual American size.

Own four pairs of Ankara. Best jeans I've ever owned; unlikely to buy anything else. Simple, no-fuss, high quality. Great for outside work.
I've brought back in January and I like them very much and first pair of jeans they are very comfortable I wear them all the time and I wear them to bed to sleep in them to. But I don't like it about how long they are look good roll up and I wash them roll up already and they keep the and now they got a line now on both legs they should put a 4 botton fly that to me is short
