Mid rise slim tapered fit. Made with our proprietary Kaihara Japanese red line raw selvage denim (sanforized). Button fly. Extra heavy pocket bags. Bottom of back pockets lined for durability. Leather patch by Tanner Goods, Portland, OR. Graduated inseams from 34.75" to 36". If you require a hem, please contact us directly after receiving your jeans. Made in San Francisco, Calif. USA

Meet our Elgin 14.75 oz. mid-rise slim tapered jean. This fit was developed after listening to some informed and opinionated customers who dug our Ladbroke Grove low(er) rise tapered jean. Their request was simple and single minded - make the Ladbroke Grove longer in the rise.

One meeting with our pattern maker, Pam, and bippity boppity boop - the Elgin was born. Our factory whipped up a prototype and it was perfect. Nothing at all to change here. We jumped into production and carried on with our day. Nice when things go easy on you once in a while...

If you have our Ladbroke Grove, know this - the Elgin has a rise that is 1.5" longer and the rest of the dimensions are exactly the same and our 14.75 oz. fabric (like our 12.5 oz. and 16.5 oz. fabrics) are proprietary from Kiahara since 2019. This is something we are extremely proud of and understand that it takes many hands and a common goal to create something special.

Thanks for reading and cheers to you for keeping this little denim engine cooking!

    Elgin 14.75

14.75oz is the perfect weight for my build - 5’10” 150lbs 32” waist. Tony and Pete were incredibly patient dealing with a bunch of questions until I finally chose the Elgins over the Ladbroke Grove (my next pair). They take Customer Service to another level. Quality denim and construction as expected - there’s a very good reason for all the 5* reviews. Walking around with a large double turn-up until the first wash when these will be back to T for hemming.

So I own both the black and 14.75oz Elgin jeans. My word, definitely an amazing fit! I love the higher rise which I'll give the specs. The front rise is 12in and the back rise is 16in. Leg opening is 7.5in slim enough to show off your cool heritage boots. I ordered size 34. Flat across it measured 17.5in. Hope this helps. Again, I just want to say these guys are amazing, great customer service, denim quality is superb, so thank you again Tellason.

I have two pair of the Blubaugh Straight Leg Jeans I wear with riding boots and wanted to venture out to a tapered leg to roll up and wear with low cut boots. Love the fit and look of these jeans!

    Excellent jeans

These are my first pair of jeans from Tellason and they didn't disappoint. After an initial cold soak and drying they broke in easily. I haven't noticed any crocking. Overall they feel and look great; I've gotten a ton of compliments.

These are hands down the best fitting and wearing jeans I have ever owned! The wife also gives them a big thumbs up. ;-)

Great raw denim fabric. The fit is ideal if you are looking for a modern cut but don't like low waist. Love the smell of raw denim...

Finally found a pair of perfect jeans. In the beginning a little bit stiff, they soon became my second skin and daily companion. Trouble-free payment and delivery to Austria.
