I’m kicking myself for waiting so long to come back to Tellason. But the wait was worth it. While it was sad to lose Cone Mills US denim, Tellason has chosen an amazing mill and cloth to replace it: Kaihara. I’m a big fan of the mill, and I can tell already that this fabric developed by Tellason with Kaihara is a serious winner: crisp, dark, and guaranteed to fade beautifully. Also the Gustave cut: I’ve been searching forever for a slim but comfortable fit with a strong taper. Few denim labels do a cut like this. And I’ve finally found it with the Gustave. It’s unique, and feels like it was custom made for me. As always, the Tellason details and quality are 100%: subtle and traditional which respects the classic 5-pocket jeans but makes them uniquely theirs. And I’m a denimhead, so I hate any detail that seems gimmicky. Tellason honors American tradition. Well done Tellason, these are as good as I remember. I’m definitely buying a few more pair.
