The belt is amazing. The sizing is perfect. Great quality amazing Leather the rivets are super sturdy not to mention the copper buckle. This thing is going to get better with time. My only gripe is the rivets need to be sanded down on the top they are little sharp and dig into the belt other then that I would definitely get one of these if your in the fence.
I have purchased many belts over the years, starting with genuine leather and moving up the ladder to full grain leather. This is not just a belt, but a work of art and the quality is unmatched. Buckle is amazing and the leather is the thickest I’ve ever had. I’m sure this belt will outlive me. Wearing selvedge denim jeans and this belt together makes a powerful statement. Thank you for such craftsmanship. Can’t wait to see what this looks like after it breaks in.
This belt will, without a doubt, blow you away with its quality. Super thick and heavy, bound to last for decades, not years. The buckle is a literal work of art. The belt is worth every penny and I highly recommend you make one yours. Get the same size as your Tellason pant size.
This belt is sweet! You can tell attention to detail is a priority when making it. Probably now my favorite belt in my rotation. Sizing instructions are a bit confusing so I followed a previous review (pick your tellason jeans size) and it fits flawlessly.
Gentlemen: Purchase this Belt before it is too late. You will want to update your Will or Trust to provide for a bequest of this belt as it will be passed through generations. Bespoke in every way. As another reviewer noted, the only flaw with this belt are the sharp ends of the copper rivets, which gouge the back side of the belt tail when fastening or unfastening. Otherwise, I would be lamenting the lack of a sixth star to give. Confusing, too, because in the picture, the rivet ends are rounded.
I'm a Tellason fan and own everything from shirts to jackets to jeans. Recently I stumbled on this belt while I was in the market for a new belt. This thing is awesome from the presentation pacakaging to the belt to the buckle. It's just really special and helps tie your whole wardrobe together. If you decide to pick it up don't be like me and fumble the sizing. Order whatever size Terllason jeans you wear. If you're a 38 in Tellason jeans, order a 38 belt. Thanks to Tellason for a painless exchange.
Very high quality piece here. The belt itself is a hefty 6mm thick and very dense. It has a nice and subtle waxy/oily finish to it with a strong oud scent. The aroma lingers for a while, but it's a pleasant reminder of where this belt comes from and the natural materials used to make it. I believe the oak bark oxblood leather was used for this so it has a warm, deep, reddish brown hue to it. The copper buckle is gorgeous and has just the right amount of weight to it with an excellent hand feel. The only qualm I had was that the rivets weren't completely rounded over smooth and scratched the underside of the leather when pushed through the keeper. This was easily remedied with a ball peen hammer and some sand paper.
I’m one of those guys with a curve to my hip. In order to get an any pant that will fit through the thighs, means I’m dealing with a bigger waste than I need. So a belt is always mandatory. I’ve had so much crap over the years that no matter how many holes I drill into the poor thing- my pants are still sagging like a 16 year olds. But after receive this remarkable belt, I think my days of frustration are over. No surprise from Tellason. I float between a 36 and 38 pant size and i buy mostly 38 from Tellason. I bought the 38 belt and it fits perfect. I have 2 holes to spare, and doubtful I’ll ever get skinnier than that, thanks to my love for beer. Buy this without hesitation. The buckle is gorgeous and I expect it will patina really nicely. Tellason hits it out of the park again. They’re the Babe Ruth’s of clothing!
