My other pair of Tellasons is Ladbroke Grove and I like them a ton. These Gustaves, in the same size, are significantly tighter and in the 16.5 weight, super sturdy. They take some wears to brake in, but they are a great jean in a very slim profile.
I can not over state this. If you buy Tellason jeans you will be happy. As long as you know the fit you are looking for it is impossible to go wrong with this brand, Even if you don't they have free shipping both ways! I hope the best for these guys. The Gustave is the best skinny fit jean out there and the 16.5 oz Cone Mills denim is heavy duty stuff! All praise aside, the fit is comfortably loose in the seat allowing for mobility and tapers to the skinny leg I've been used to seeing since high school. All the details are subtle and elegant and the denim is perfect. I got these jeans in the end of November and will be glad to have them broken in by Spring.
Can't ask for more the best fitting slim taper jean on the market in my opinion made with only the best materials.
GUSTAVE - 16.5 OZ 16.5 oz fabric is very stiff if compared with my other 14.5 oz jeans, but it is excellent for me as I like the stiff feeling very much. It is natural, raw and prefect. The fit is good as well, the leg opening is 14" is just fit for me with 5"10. It looks very slim and I love this stuff very much.
Been searching for a slim, tapered jean to add to the collection - something with room to move in the top block but that narrows somewhat significantly from the knee to ankle. The Gustave is it! The 16.5 oz is sturdy but not as starchy/stiff as other denim of equal weight out there. Only had these on for a couple days now, so we'll see how it fades, but it's already softening up even without a soak. This is my first pair of Tellasons and I'm super impressed. The quality and attention to detail won't let you down. Oh, and these guys shipped out the pair literally within 30 minutes of my order going through.
These are really high quality jeans. Great denim, lots of thoughtful details, nice slim fit and they look great. I wear a 33 waist normally and the 33 fit well, maybe even slightly loose, but I imagine they will shirt a bit after the first wash. Deliver was super quick from coast to coast. I highly recommend Tellason.

I normally fall somewhere between a 30-31 waist and tend to go with a 30 in raw denim as it does stretch out. I ended up going with the 31 in the Gustave, as it offered more room in the top block while still tapering down at the leg opening. I am 5'10 170, and really enjoy a tapered denim as my calves are not huge. This is the PERFECT amount of taper. Enough to silhouette the leg nicely, but not so tapered that you cant fit the leg opening over boots or hi tops. As expected the details and construction are amazing, and the 16.75 cone mills are chunky and heavy, but after only a week of wear have softened up nicely while still remaining stiff in all the right places. Really looking forward to a nice long journey with these bad boys.
